Baby Shower Cake

I got so excited when I was asked to make a cake for my friend Heather's baby shower.  Using the invitation for inspiration (and with some creative freedom) I came up with this design.  This was also my first time making baby booties/sneakers out of fondant.
I was happy with how the cake turned out, but even happier when I found out how much the mom-to-be and her guests loved it.

Top Tier: Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting & Filling

Bottom Tier: Chocolate Cake with Bavarian Cream Filling & Milk Chocolate Frosting
